IASME Governance

The IASME Governance standard was developed, by IASME, over several years during a government funded project to create a cyber security standard which would be an affordable and achievable alternative to the international standard, ISO27001.

The IASME Governance standard has been designed to allow small companies within a supply chain to demonstrate their level of cyber security for a realistic cost and indicates that they are taking good steps to properly protect their customers information.

The IASME Governance assessment includes the Cyber Essentials basic assessment as well as additional GDPR, business continuity, security policy and other questions. This certification is available either as a self assessment or an on-site audit.

If you are a business that would like to work towards the industry standard ISO 27001, but either can’t justify the amount of work, time and cost this involves, this certification is the ideal solution for you. Working towards this certiicate will help your business ensure that its processes and policies are in place for business continuity, disaster recovery, asset management, GDPR/data protection capability as well as cyber security best practices and much more. Its a great stepping stone towards ISO 27001.

Work towards ISO 27001 standards and achieve the IASME Governance certification through a self-assessment process.
